Police report a suspect was wounded in an officer-involved shooting late Tuesday afternoon at the Rosslyn Metro station in Northern Virginia.

Arlington police said the male suspect was being taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Police said there was no ongoing threat to the public, but roads near the station have been temporarily blocked off to pedestrians and vehicles.
A police investigation is still under way.
